Mrs. W. S. Cronkhite died at her home near Marshfield last Thursday, after a short illness. Her husband passed away on January 8th. Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon after which remains were brought to this place for interment beside her husband. Louisa May Reynolds was born in Warren Co., Ind., May 7th, 1854, and died on February 15th, 1917, aged 62 years, 9 months and 8 days. She was married Oct. 23, 1879, to Winfield S. Cronkhite. He died five weeks previous to his wife. To this union was born three children, Ada, of Attica, Lawrence, of Danville, Ill., and Bessie, who has lived at home caring for her parents. Besides her three children she is survived by three grandchildren, three brothers, and two sisters: Mort, of Covington, Bent, of Marshfield, and Louis, of West Lebanon; Mrs. Geo. C. Bless of Attica, and Mrs. Fred Corbin, of Williamsport. Mrs. Cronkhite spent her entire life in Warren county. She was always forgetful of her own self and interests, in being helpful to others. She had been a member of the Marshfield Presbyterian church for many years and died in the Christian faith. The funeral was held at 1 o'clock Saturday, February 18, at the house, Rev. Henry F. Shier officiating.
